How often do UK walls reset?

Reset frequency is the single thing most likely to decide whether you keep a membership, and it is almost never on the pricing page. Here is what 37 UK walls publish about how they set โ€” cadence, volume, who does it and what they are trying to achieve.

Why it matters

A wall that resets one section a week keeps roughly a tenth of its problems new at any moment, so there is always something to try. A wall on a six-week full-reset cycle gives you a burst of novelty and then five weeks of diminishing returns. Neither is wrong โ€” the second usually means bigger, more considered sets โ€” but they suit very different climbers. If you go twice a week, cadence matters more than price; if you go twice a month, it barely matters at all.

How walls describe their own setting

Reset schedules are taken from each wall's own website and change more often than the websites do. Treat them as intent rather than promise, and check with the wall if you are planning a trip around a reset. Setting a wall? Claim your listing to keep this accurate.
