Routesetting
The centre aims to keep areas that are easier for beginners as well as areas that are more challenging for experienced climbers, and keeps the high walls at roughly a 50:50 split between lead and top rope, varied periodically.

- 8-weekly for bouldering, 12-weekly for rope walls
- Schedule
- Main bouldering areas run on an 8-week cycle and the rope walls on a 12-week cycle monitored by how frequently they are used. How they grade
- Roped routes
- French sport (6a, 7c+)
Roped routes are graded from 3 to 8b. A setter proposes a grade, then the team tests every new route ("the Green Spider test"). New routes carry yellow cards showing a provisional grade with a feedback notebook; after the review period the grade is adjusted if needed and replaced with a permanent white card.
