Claim your wall's listing
ClimbIndex lists 396 UK climbing walls. If one of them is yours, you can claim it and correct it โ for free, permanently. There is no paid tier, and there never will be one for keeping your own facts straight.
Why we're asking
Everything on your listing was read off your own public website. That is the honest way to build a directory, but it has an obvious limit: we can only see what you happen to have published, and we can only be as current as your last website update. Where we couldn't verify something we left it blank rather than guess โ which is why some listings look thinner than the walls deserve.
You are the authority on your own prices, your reset cycle and what's in your diary. Claiming just means we take your word for it over our crawler's.
What you get
- Correct pricing โ full structure, not just a headline number: peak and off-peak, concessions, child and family rates, every membership tier, joining fees, punch cards and hire.
- Your events listed โ competitions, leagues, socials, women's nights, youth sessions. These feed the UK events index, which is the page most likely to send you someone who has never been before.
- Your routesetting โ reset frequency and schedule on your comparison entry. Climbers ask about this more than about price, and almost nobody publishes it clearly.
- How you grade โ your circuit colours and what they mean, on your listing and in the grading index.
- Your team โ coaches, setters and instructors, as you want them described.
- Your photos โ real pictures of your wall instead of a generic stock image.
- A link to your site and your booking page, on every one of your pages here.
What it costs, and what we want
Nothing, and nothing. We are not selling advertising, we are not going to ask for a listing fee later, and we do not sell or share the contact details we hold. There is no login to create and no contract to sign โ you email us, we update your listing, that's the whole process.
We are building this because the UK deserves a climbing directory that isn't guesswork. Accurate listings are the entire product, so getting yours right is worth more to us than it is to you.
How to claim
Email hello@climbindex.co.uk from an address at your wall's own domain โ that's all the proof of ownership we need. Tell us:
- Which wall (a link to your ClimbIndex page is easiest)
- Anything we've got wrong โ please be blunt about it
- Your current price list, or a link to it
- Your reset schedule, if you're happy to publish it
- Anything in your diary for the next few months
- Photos you're happy for us to use, and how you want them credited
If you'd rather just point us at a page and let us do the reading, that's fine too โ a one-line "our prices moved, they're here" is genuinely useful.
If you'd rather not be listed
Say so and we'll remove you, no argument and no follow-up. We list walls because a directory with holes in it is worse than useless to climbers, not because we think you owe us a presence. Equally, if you'd prefer we didn't hold a contact address for you, tell us and we'll delete it.
