Boulder UK
A bouldering centre in the Walton Summit area of Preston, opened in 2017, with walls made solely from birch plywood at angles replicating outdoor routes and boulder problems. The site describes one of the best training areas in the country, plus a climbing shop, adult coaching and junior sessions.

- Four rounds across the winter season, culminating in a showcase final; final round doors 9:30am, competition 10:00am, finals 4:30pmLeagueOpen to allFree to compete (regular wall entry still required)
Each round consists of 20 blocs from V0 to V8+ on the competition wall, climbed with unlimited attempts, with 1000 points per boulder shared among everyone who completes it. Six age categories from junior under 12 to vet 45+.

A relaxed session for women climbers of all abilities to climb together, problem-solve and exchange tricks while working on personal projects, with guest speakers sharing experiences from competitions, expeditions and the outdoor industry.

Qualification round of 30 problems set with everyone in mind on the Saturday, followed by IFSC-style semi-final and final rounds on the Sunday. £4,000 prize money plus product prizes. Categories are Senior (17-44, including U19), Veterans (45-59) and Super Veterans (60+).
