Creation Climbing Centre

Creation Climbing Centre on Moseley Road has over 200 bouldering problems graded VB to V8, lead and top-rope walls, auto-belays and an indoor caving system of over 200ft on three levels. Training kit includes an LED Moonboard, woodboard, campus rungs and pull-up bars.

"We want every visit to Creation to feel different" - the centre aims for variety and a good spread of routes on slabby, vertical and overhanging walls.

At least 40 roped routes and 80 boulder problems are set every month, with the whole centre reset approximately every three months.

Roped routes use French sport grades (5, 5+, 6a, 6a+ ...); boulders are graded VB up to V8. The centre acknowledges grading is subjective and invites feedback on misgraded routes.

  The main centre, amphitheatre area and entire bouldering wall are lit with UV lights, with UV tape and glowing holds. Includes crate stacking, aerial traverse and dyno challenges.
