Bristol's urban crag, a great quarried limestone gorge beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Famous for delicate, polished wall climbing where footwork and nerve count for more than strength, on ledgy walls up to 90m high. A historic trad venue with a unique city-centre atmosphere and quick evening access.

Access & approach

Park along the Portway or in Clifton; cliffs rise straight off the pavement beside a busy road. Seasonal peregrine restrictions on Main Wall area - check BMC RAD. Some sectors closed after rockfall.
