A magnificent tower of steel-grey limestone rearing above the Derwent gorge at Matlock, and the grandest cliff in the Peak. Long, exposed pitches on generally excellent rock make it the district's premier limestone trad venue. The big wall ambience belies its short approach from the tourist paths.

Access & approach
Approach from Matlock or Matlock Bath via the High Tor grounds paths; keep to paths above the cliff, which is popular with walkers.
