Shepherd's Crag
Rhyolite Faces W trad Diff to E5 6a
The ever-popular roadside crag of Borrowdale, minutes from the Lodore Falls with views over Derwentwater. Clean volcanic rock gives a dense collection of valley classics at amenable grades, including the much-loved Little Chamonix. Low altitude and a quick approach make it the Lakes' most reliable bad-weather-dodging trad venue.
