Gimmer Crag
Rhyolite Faces SW trad Diff to E5 6a
The finest crag in Langdale, a clean grey barrel of rock high on the flank of the Langdale Pikes. Perfect rough rhyolite gives sustained, delicate climbing with tremendous exposure, and the south-westerly aspect makes it one of the sunnier mountain crags. Kipling Groove is one of the great HVS pitches of Britain.
